Processing Time

Processing time (not delivery) for most candles is 3 – 5 business days to be processed and shipped.
For party favor orders, please allow 7business days.*

The above are processing times as we make candles to order and do not account for the time the package is in transit.

All parcels are sent via Royal mail Tracked 48 unless you upgraded your shipping method to Royal mail signed for 1st class, Royal mail signed for 2nd class, Royal mail Tracked 48.

We cannot deliver to PO boxes and if you require delivery to the Channel Islands you will need to select International delivery.

If you are not around, the carrier will try your neighbours, or (if a signature is not required) will try to find a safe, dry place to leave your parcel.

Alternatively they’ll leave a calling card with the details on how to re-arrange delivery. Or depending on the courier a re-delivery attempt may be made without contact.

Please note deliveries outside of the UK can take anything up to 10 working days and sometimes longer. Check with your local postal service to check if any attempt has been made at delivery as you may have been out when they called.

After you purchase from us, you will receive an email with your order confirmation. We will send you another email when we dispatch your order which will include your order details, order number, delivery address and a tracking number for the delivery company selected at checkout. Please check your spam /junk folders as well or get in touch if you don’t find your tracking number an we are happy help.

Please check your address and make sure it is correct and get in touch if you need to correct it before we send it out, otherwise we won’t be able to modify your details. 

The original postage for the parcels returning to us for incorrect address or for not being picked up is non refundable as it is a service provided by the delivery company you select at checkout and they don’t make refunds for used postage. 

Custom Fees

Europe & International orders
Kindly be advised that if you are purchasing items from outside the United Kingdom, you may incur customs fees and/or duties upon arrival in your country. We cannot accept any liability for customs charges. The buyer is responsible for any duty/customs fees. These charges are determined by your government. For further details, we recommend reaching out to your local customs office or postal service.

Please note that once your order leaves our studio, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy and safety of the shipping address provided. We will not be held liable for incorrectly entered shipping information or packages left, stolen, or missing from an unreliable or unsafe shipping address. The customer is responsible for paying the cost of re-shipping any packages returned to the sender due to issues with delivery. If there is postal fees that needs to be paid upon reception of a parcel that is returned to sender, Je t’aime Candle won’t accept these fees and therefore will refuse to get the parcel back.

Route Insurance

Route, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. By selecting Route+ at checkout your order will be protected from damage, loss*, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed. We are excited to offer this service to you and we highly recommend you use Route+ package protection at checkout.

*Claims for packages marked “delivered” yet not received and where there is no evidence of “porch piracy” must be made 5 days after “delivery date” but no longer than 15 days to ensure it was not misdelivered or easily found around the premises.” Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not “delivered”) must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.
